Without a roar, it pounces;
Devouring my heart then mind.
The pain slowly diffuses in my blood,
Slowly flowing to my entire body.
I lay there wishing I was physically wounded,
For I cannot take this reality any longer.
Its weight firmly squashes my mind as it erects its body;
Roaring in victory.
And I lay there,
Emotionally and physically defeated.
