Grow ^up^

I wonder what’s so great about growing up.

“You need to grow up” is a sentence I have heard since I was 5 years old.

Either been told calmly or someone yelling it at me.

It never gets old.

It made me miss out on my childhood because “I had to grow up”.

I had to lead my siblings and everyone around me.

But as an adult, can you say that you are truly happy?

Do you not miss part of your childhood?

Kids wish to be adults and adults wish to be young again.

Isn’t it time we let kids be kids?

Teens be teens?

Leave maturity out of it.

It will catch up when it does.
