Like a boat on an ocean, so is Christianity. It can get rough and sometimes you just want to let go and sink to the bottom of the ocean. Every Christian has their own stories to tell. And for some of us, we survive because all we know is Jesus. We want to give up. We no longer hear God. Praying feels like someone forcing sand down your throat. We find comfort in everything else except God.

But some of us always come back to our senses and acknowledge Him as the only God above all. Someone told me that Christianity is when you can infuse the Gospel of Jesus Christ into every area of your life. Think about it. Isn’t that hard? I mean, there is school, work, and so many things around us that we easily forget that we are Christ like. Sunday is the one day most of us remember that we are Gods kids.

But church is every day and being Christ-like is a lifestyle. We forget we are the church and not the building we congregate in. We also forget that we are supposed to be like Jesus everywhere we are.  God no longer lives in temples and arcs; He lives in us. They are so many of us calling ourselves Christians and yet we are far from the Gospel. We do not have a relationship with our creator God.

And in the end it is a choice. God loves us so much that He has given us free will. We are free to make choices however we want. He has given you a choice to either choose Him or yourself.

Proverbs 14:12 ESV There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”

Isaiah 64:8 ESV “But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

Isaiah 40:28 “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.”
